FAILURE IS THE CONDIMENT THAT MAKES SUCCESS TASTE SO GOOD!!!

I could not help but to send this saying along to everyone. To me it helped sum up the past 3 years of our hockey program. From all the players who came on the ice as beginners with us over the years that practically broke down and cried because their feet hurt so bad and then came back the next day. They will one day become good enough to enjoy the game the rest of their lives. To our first year team that never won a game but had successes and fun. All the way to last year, our last game, "senior night", when we won in over time. Those are great feelings surrounded by super great people. And it also says a lot about our fundraising this year...we will be successful and each and everyone one of you and your hockey players will make sure we do. Thank you ALL !!!

To the Central Square Hockey Community,

Thank you to all members of our booster club who made donations, helped work, and made our fund-raising season a successful one. The day we all have been eagerly waiting for is finally here. On Monday November 10th we will be holding a player/parents meeting at 7:00 PM followed by a team picture and a workout to begin our 2008-2009 season at Cicero Twin Rinks. Please bring your hockey gear as we will have the players dress while the parents meeting is being held to expedite the process of taking a picture for our program. Attendance is mandatory and it is essential that everyone attends. To make it clear we have our 1st scrimmage on November 23rd at the War Memorial before the Crunch game. If the player does not have a certain number of practices he/she will not be able to participate in that scrimmage and would miss out on a great opportunity. In addition I have attached a tentative schedule that includes games and practices. Game times are firm but there are a few things on the practice schedule that may change and I will publish a final one next week. Also I am looking for a parent or relative who would be wiling to film our games as I would like to institute film study into our practice routine this season. You do not have to commit for every game, and if interested let me know. Any questions please contact me ASAP so that we can get our 3rd season off to a smooth start. Thanks again for all your help.

Please remember to SIGN UP FOR HOCKEY IN YOUR SCHOOL....You will need all the paper work that your School requires to get on the ice Nov. 10th, so follow up on what you need to do. Most require a Winter Sports Physical. If you are in C.S. Middle School you should be getting a letter home that starts the process of getting you eligible, fill it out and get it turned back in right away.
ANY QUESTIONS ASK ME OR MATT AND WE WILL HELP YOU OUT.
